13/12/05 General Cables New Zealand Ltd announced today that they wish to give notice of a price increase effective 1 February 2006 for products listed in their List Price Book.
The increase reflects the continuing upward trend of the international price of copper. Copper is the major component in the manufacture of the majority of our products and while they regret this further increase they have no option. General Cable New Zealand Ltd are of the opinion that smaller regular increases are better than larger less frequent ones.
The increase is 9.25% across all products, excluding accessories.
Please note that products subject to net pricing schedules are also being reviewed and any changes will be notified shortly.
Printed books will be available before February 1st.
