1/05/2006 Cable Prices increased on the 1st of May with an over the range increase of 8% ( excluding data and communication products which were increased by 3-5% ) where aluminium, accessories, instrumentation, 4 pair Lan and optical fibre products will remain unchanged.
With the rise on the 1st of May General Cables have again announced that on the 1st of June 2006 flat TPS, conduit wires and single core copper xlpe will have another increase of 15%. Aluminium, instrumentation and other energy cables will increase by 5%.
We here at Stewarts realise that these increases are a strain to your business, although we have no control on the list / trade prices set by the manufacturers we suggest that you purchase the required cables that are needed for your business sooner rather than later as we expect further increases to be announced.
