29/05/2006 General Cables wish to advise that on July 1st 2006 there will be an increase as a consequence to the rapid increase in the global price of copper and aluminium.
The following increases will be applied to:
All copper energy cables 15%
All aluminium energy cables 5 %
Instrumentation cable 5 %
Telephone cables 15%
General Cables have advised that their data range ( B20,21,40,41 and 95 ) along with cable accessories will not be subject to any increase in this instance.
They also advise that they appreciate that this advice continues what has been a difficult period for us all in the cable business however they can assure us that they continue to appreciate your business and ongoing support.
