30/06/2006 General Cables New Zealand Ltd wish to advise that effective August 1st 2006 cable prices will rise.
The following increases will be applied;
All copper energy cables 9.75%
Please note that the data cable range ( B20, 21, 40, 41, 50, 51 and 95 ) along with cable accessories will not be subject to any increase in this instance.
General Cable advise that they appreciate that this advice continues what has been a difficult period for us all in the cable business. They are hopeful that we are nearing the end of the volatile prices.
