Re: Notification of cable price rise
General Cables NZ Ltd wish to advise that effective 1st June 2007 cable prices will increase. The increase is a consequence of the recent rapid increase in the global price of copper and aluminium.
The increase will be 15% across all products.
The General Cable price list will be published on the Stewarts Electrical website and the General Cable website which is available to you at all times. We will not be publishing a printed price list in future. Our list forms the basis for our pricing to you. We take no responsibility for it being used for any other purpose.
We appreciate that this advice will cause considerable disruption for your business but we can assure you of our continued appreciation of your business and our ongoing support.

Similar notification has been received from Olex New Zealand Ltd which will take effect July 1st 2007. This notification refers to copper cables only.
