11/07/2007. We have been advised of the following from General Cables NZ Ltd.
Re: Notification of Price List changes
General Cable wishes to announce a 5.0% price increase on all Energy cables and 3% on all Data and Communications cables effective Monday 6th August.
We would also like to take the opportunity to advise that we are looking at modifying our current List Price on 1st October 2007. If this is to go ahead then we would make available the required information to you within the next month.
We believe that change is required due to distortions that have developed over recent years. We anticipate that our modifications will have the effect of reducing the list price across the majority of the product range.
As advised in our June price increase notification we will no longer be publishing a printed form of our price list; instead it will be available through our website, www.generalcable.co.nz. Please note that our price list forms the reference for our pricing to you. We accept no responsibility for it being used for any other purpose.
