30 Series British Telephone Mechanism
The long awaited Clipsal 30BTM,WE two wire BT type telephone connection socket mechanism is finally here. The mechanism suits all 30 Series mechanism apertures in Clipsal Grids and Plates and is available in white only. The 30BTM,WE features a spring loaded shutter mechanism.
Each unit is individually packaged complete with protective shroud and installation instructions. Packaging features barcode and Telepermit details.

Strike me Pink!
Clipsal has released a pink Category 5e Modular RJ45 shuttered socket.
The pink colour will assist in identifying C-Bus Network sockets.
The advantage that it provides is quick identification of an access point for a PC Interface. It also allows easy C-Bus Network access for units such as Desktop Touch Screen, Wireless Gateway and Multi-room Audio Amplifiers and Switcher.

504/4 Series Junction Box – Clearly Better
Clipsal has taken traditional junction box design and engineered some remarkable ingenuity to create the new 504 Junction Box.
The clear base plate allows you to inspect the terminations and identify cables without having to remove the cover. The new low profile design can be installed in tight spaces such as behind drawers, wall cavities and appliances.
Features such as a clip-on cover that fits securely to the base plate allowing you a free hand to fit-off the cover screws, ideal for when installing overhead.
• External fixing tabs on the base provide improved clearance and access to cable connections
• For confined spaces, external fixing tabs can be easily removed with pliers
• The base plate can also be nailed into place
• The external mounting tabs are suitable for cable-tie applications
• Knock-outs – can be snapped off with pliers without tearing the enclosure and allowing cable access in all four directions
• Supplied with 3 single screw connectors and 1 twin screw connector for earthing applications

Industry latest in portable video security cameras
The Clipsal Digilant 5480DSAC is the future of the industry latest in portable video security cameras designed to connect directly to existing Clipsal HomeSafe® alarm systems.
The 5480DSAC features unique ultra low power video processing technology and runs for up to two months on one small internal battery. Digilant is suited for both commercial and domestic installations.
Digilant can easily be installed in just one area, moved from room to room to follow high risk items, or be connected to HomeSafe security panels. It can also be used to monitor boats, caravans, rental properties and sheds.
Retailers have been using Clipsal Digilant because of its portability, cost effectiveness and ‘wire free’ installation. Large retailers can use the product to complement their existing CCTV by shadowing high-risk goods. High resolution JPEG images from the camera mean that retailers get very distinct still images of perpetrators.
Another application for Digilant is on construction sites. The camera can be left on site during the fitting out stage to capture clear images of any thieves or vandals.
The home security market is also taking advantage of the Digilant system. Installers can offer low cost video technology to more homes, to capture digital still images of intruders.

Open up to the power of Jetstream
Responding to customer’s needs, Clipsal has expanded its range of Surface and Flush Mounted Switchboards with the 4CC Series. These superior quality low profile switchboards are surface and flush mounted and are available in 15 to 60 module sizes, giving you greater flexibility for your installations.
Designed to give generous wiring room for incoming cables, the 4CC Series is an economical switchboard for use in most applications.
Cable access is available to side or top-wired models, making this switchboard easy to install. The DIN mounting rails conveniently suit accessories, residual current devices, circuit breakers and combination RCB/MCB circuit breakers, and a full set of pole fillers are provided with each enclosure. Space is also provided under the DIN rail to aid in cable installation.
Flush versions in the 4CC range are suitable for walls with a minimum 70mm depth (plus wall thickness). The range has been designed to have a super low profile. All switchboards in this range come in a standard white electric colour, which can easily be painted to suit individual décor requirements

The flexible nature of standard corrugated conduit allows a faster and neater installation compared to rigid conduit.
The new patented design of TURBO™ conduit features ridges on the internal surface of the conduit, which space the cable away from the inside wall. This unique design reduces friction build up between the cable and the ridges inside the corrugated conduit. When friction is reduced the cable becomes far easier to push or pull through the conduit.
