03/09/2007 General cable NZ Ltd have announced the following;
Re: Notification of List Price changes
As you are aware we have decided to delay the implementation of modifications to our current List Price announced for October 1st until early in 2008.
In preparation for this change we are reclassifying our products into three groups which will allow us to more accurately manage price movements in the future.
However, as a result of recent cost increases we do need to make adjustments to some of our product range effective 1st October 2007. The changes proposed are:
• “A” products - Top 5 TPS No change
• “B” & C products 5.5% increase
There will be no change to our Aluminium, Data and Communications and Accessories ranges.
As advised in earlier price increase notifications we are no longer publishing a printed form of our price list; instead it is available through our website, www.generalcable.co.nz. Please note that our price list forms the reference for our pricing to you. We accept no responsibility for it being used for any other purpose.
We appreciate that this advice will result in some disruption for your business. We assure you of our continued appreciation of your business and our ongoing support.
