09/10/07 The market has been notified that General Cables new Zealand ltd plans to increase its list prices as per the note below;
Re: Notification of cable price rise
I wish to advise that effective 1st December 2007 energy cable prices will increase by 8.0%. Aluminium cable, Data and Communications, LAN and Accessories will not be affected.
This increase is a consequence of escalating costs outside of our control.
Please note that our price list forms the reference for our pricing for you. We accept no responsibility for it being used for any other purpose.
Unless otherwise agreed we will still be adhering to our 30 day validity on quotations for acceptance and delivery.
We do appreciate that this advice will cause some disruption for your business.
