17/03/08 General Cable New Zealand Ltd advises that due to ongoing cost increases they will be increasing cables prices effective April 15th 2008. The following will apply to the April 1st price List.
- Copper Cable 4.5 percent
- Aluminium Energy Cables 0.0 percent
- Instrumentation and flexible cables 2.5 percent
It is the opinion of General Cables that we are again in a situation of rapidly increasing copper and therefore they recommend caution with long term fixed price commitments.
General Cables appreciate that this advice will result in some disruption for your business. They assure you that they appreciate your business and ongoing support.
General Cables will no longer be publishing a printed price list, instead it is available through the website www.generalcable.co.nz.
